He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. and Mary J. Coleman (Devine); his sister Margaret Gorman; and his former wife Connie Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Phary Coleman (Nop); his sons, Brett (Kim) of Denmark, Eammon (Sindy) of Shrewsbury and Augustin of Sterling; his grandchildren, Seamus, Myles, Devinn, Shirley and James; and his siblings, Kathy Coleman (Larry Weathers) of Harpswell, Maura McNiff (Al) of Ipswich, Noelle Aylward (Redmond) of Stow and Brian (Judi) of Hampton, N. H.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
