She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ferguson and Babineau; her son Joseph Melanson; and her siblings, Alma, Edith and Alex.
She is survived by: her children, Francis J. Dupont (Pamela) of Sterling, Kenneth L. Dupont (Maria) of Phillipston and Ann Simons; and her sister Yvette Maillet of Canada. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Marie may be made to the Sterling Animal Shelter or the ADRA.
