It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joann Drown of Sterling, Massachusetts, born in Paxton, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosamond Wykes and Roland Hanson. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey B. Drown of Holden; her daughters, Kristen B. Rey (David Rey) of Lancaster and Arlene C. Drown (Arthur Swanson) of Sterling; her cousin David Hanson of Texas; and her pet Mazy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, Post Office Box 202, Franklin, MA 02038, for breast cancer research.
