Charlotte H. (Patten) Gildutis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte H. (Patten) Gildutis of Sterling, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 2, 2020 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Patten and Rachel H. Patten (Elliot); her husband Edward B. Gildutis; and her sisters, Emily Finney, Elizabeth Schmohl, Patricia Kennedy and Margaret Fagan Young.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail E. Merrill (Dana) of Goffstown, NH and Barbara J. Stanney (Bill) of Northborough; her grandchildren, Dean Merrill (Tina van Loendersloot), Will Stanney (Samantha), Danielle Merrill (Brian Richard) and Chrissy Stanney (Chris Baker); her great grandchildren, Christian, Catelyn, Cameron Baker, Jayden Richard and Lucy; and her cousins, Roberta Reynolds, Nancy Monk and Vivian Pratt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In an effort to keep everyone safe, masks and social distancing will be required at the church and cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Church in Sterling.
