It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn C. Traxler of Sterling, Massachusetts, born in Oakdale, Louisiana, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Cain and Yvon Cain; and her husband Dr. Richard W. Traxler. She is survived by: her daughters, Marla Farrow of Sterling, MA, Suzanne Godin (Paul) of North Yarmouth, ME and Carol Traxler of North Providence, RI; her grandchildren, Jessica Parsons (Ryan) of Calgary, Alberta and Brian Godin of Gray, ME; and her great grandchildren, Rory and Rylee Parsons.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carolyn's name to the Women's Club Scholarship Fund at: GFWC South County - RI Foundation Scholarship Fund.
