He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Collins Sr. and Hester M. Collins (Doyle); and his brother James Collins. He is survived by: his children, Christine, Caroline (McBirney), Deirdre and Timothy Collins; his grandchildren, Montana, Madison, Makenna, Mason McBirney, Lane, Finn Collins and Catherine Kane; his friends, John Needham of Quincy and Eddie Kelley of Shrewsbury; his wife Mary; and his sister Joan Sheridan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In place of flowers, donations in memory of Thomas can be made to Interfaith Social Services, 105 Adams Street, Quincy, to honor his compassionate spirit.
