It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary A. Tower of Squantum, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louis "Lou" Tower, Jr.; and her siblings, Patricia Bradley and Daniel Bradley, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Mary Lynch (John) of Weymouth, Jean McGurl (Kevin) of Squantum, Karen Bakalis (Byron) of Gaithersburg, MD, Diana Tower of Quincy and Dawn Donahue (Stephen) of Quincy; and her sister Frances Sullivan of Quincy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1015 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (115 Crescent St, Quincy, MA 02169).
