He was predeceased by: his parents, George Balsom and Florence Balsom (Johnson); his daughter Diana L. Valentine; and his siblings, George, Phyllis, Grace and Genevieve.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline K. Balsom (Wyckoff) of Springfield; his daughters, Deborah K. Weckerly (Daryl) of Springfield and Donna R. Facchini of East Longmeadow; his son-in-law Leonard Valentine of Springfield; his grandchildren, William, Alison, Nicholas, Xavier and Dante; and his great grandchildren, Madison and Bastion.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
