Thomas A. Kenefick III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas A. Kenefick III (Springfield, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Thomas' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Thomas has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He is survived by: his significant other Jeanne Schmidt; his children, Caitlin, Tyler and Brennan; his stepchildren, Thomas and Robert Schmidt; his grandchildren, Leia Kenefick, Isabella Castor-Schmidt and Oskar Schmidt; and his sister Deborah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation Services (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (323 Dickinson St, Springfield, MA 01108).
