He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hastings and Lois Hastings; and his brother Donald Wilcox Hastings of Sault Ste. He is survived by: his siblings, Marcus Wilcox Hastings of Wilmington, NC and Janice Elinor Hastings of Holland, MI; his niece Jil Thrash of Crofton, MD; and his nephew Eric Hastings of Holly Springs, NC..
