She was predeceased by: her stepson David Rusinak; and her sisters, Gladys, Ruth, Elsie and Edith.
She is survived by: her parents, Salim Mahfoud and Alfreada Mahfoud (Assad); her spouse George Rusinak of Holyoke; her children, Denise Sharkey (Patrick), David Demos (Judith) of Wilbraham and Darryl Demos (Amy) of Duxbury; her grandchildren, Dave Demos (Christie), Danielle Demos, Adam Demos, Samantha Martell (Dan), Joseph Demos Sharkey, Marissa Demos, Clark Demos and Remi Demos; her great grandchild David Gregory Demos; her children, Kathleen Atkins (Ricky) and Louise Rusinak; and her stepgrandchildren, Anne Rusinak, Maura and Keith Powell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
