He is survived by: his children, Roland Joyal Jr. (Kris) of Longmeadow, Claire Howe (Scott) of Acton, Charles Joyal (Kristin) of Agawam, Helene Joyal of Leominster, Gerard Joyal (Rebecca) of Somers, CT, Emily Joyal of Boston, Caitlin Ryan (Kevin) of Acton and Deirdre Savage (Eric) of Wakefield; his grandchildren, Conrad, Carlin, Cooper, Theresa, Meghan, Scotty, Chad Jr., Maddie, Joey, Maeve, Sorcha, Bridget, Keeley, Braden, Aiden, Cowen, Lainey, Aislinn, Keegan, Nolan of Evelyn, E. J., Colleen, Trent and Cara; and his siblings, Marion Brunton of Springfield, Suzanne Joyal of Springfield, Denis Joyal (Nancy) of West Springfield, Philip Joyal, Thomas Joyal of Bellingham and Theresa Joyal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Roland's name.
