He was predeceased by: his parents, Santi Veratti and Elsie Veratti (Lunardini); his wife Joan "Pat" Veratti (McQuade Ireland); his former wife Grace Veratti (Lamoscolo); and his siblings, Alfred Veratti and Beverly Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Ann Wisniewski of Springfield, Dean R. Veratti of Springfield and Vincent Veratti of Springfield; his grandchildren, Robin Fedora (Greg), Brandon Veratti (Lauren) and Alyna Olsen (Zach); his siblings, Shirley Tabb (Gerry) and Thomas Veratti (Kathy) of East Longmeadow; his brother-in-law Joseph; and his stepchildren, Michael, Patrick, Sean, Judy and MaryLou. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services (15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, MA 01151). A prayer was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the St. Michael Cemetery (1601 State St, Springfield, MA 01109).
