It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph A. Edwards Sr. of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Irene Edwards (Gilroy); his wife Eddy Belle Edwards; and his siblings, James Edwards, Mavis Jones, Delmera Crosdale and Jasper Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Edwards (Suzanne) of Springfield, Cassandra Ward (Byron) of Levittown, PA, Ralph Edwards Jr. of Springfield and Paul Edwards (Mary) of Vienna, VA; his siblings, Enid Edwards-Moore of Springfield, Dorothy Williams of Springfield, Verona Cameron of Pennsylvania and Simeon Edwards of Florida; and his grandchildren, Cassandra, Byron Jr., Rachel, Jonathan, Alicia, Dalyn and Tristin. He is also survived by his four great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
