She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Best and Mary Best (Morrow); her husband Jerome "Jerry" Luksis; her son Steven Luksis; her nephew Michael Best; and her siblings, Eugene "Gage", James Best and Elsa Mae Stiger.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie A. Bielas (Michael); her siblings, Robert (Gwen), Paul Best (Jeannie) and Monica Carse (John); her grandchildren, Mike and Miranda Bielas; and her nieces and nephews, Rob Best, Annie and Liam Carse.
Patricia was a very generous donor to many non-profit organizations and it would please the family if in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant House, Times Square Station, PO Box 731, New York, NY 10108-0900 or to Unbound, 1 Elmwood Ave., Kansas City, KS 66103.
