He was predeceased by: his wife Blanca I. Montalban; and his sons, Ivan and Luis Santiago. He is survived by: his children, William, Edwin, Blanca, Angel Santiago and Johanna Reyes; his grandchildren, Magaly Santiago, Maritza Morales, Heriberto Luciano, William Santiago Jr., Josué Rodríguez and Yandel Santiago; and his great grandchildren, Desiree Martínez, Tiara, Tiamaree Figueroa, William Ray Santiago, Aiden Roman and Noah Santos.
