She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Burowicz and Anita Burowicz (Chase). She is survived by: her husband Richard M. Carter; her son Richard "Rick" Carter; and her sisters, Janet Ethier of Chicopee and Josephine Lukasik of Chicopee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
