He was predeceased by: his father Joseph H. Sherman, Jr.; his sister Monique Sherman; and his daughter Shannon Sherman. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Sherman; his daughter Myra Sherman (Deante Douglas); his grandchildren, Aniyah Williams, Jayden Wilburn, Kaiden Douglas and Jazmin Wilburn; his daughter Tierra Sherman (Stephen Wilburn); his siblings, Marcus Sherman, Eugene Sherman, Angela, Geneva, Besty and Joe (Dina Robinson); and his nieces and nephews, Samuel and Samaria. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends.
