He is survived by: his wife Gladys (Watson); his children, Garland L. Smith of Springfield, MA, Ronnie E. Smith of Elk, WA, Linda D. Keller of Springfield, MA, Pamela M. Boissonneault of Springfield, MA and Stephanie L. Owens of Springfield, MA; his grandchildren, Heather Boissonneault, William Boissonneault, Joseph Smith, William Smith, Rebecca Smith, James Smith Jr., Shelly Smith and Carleen Twining; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Alex, Christen, Gabriella Smith and Kaleb Ryan Owens.
