He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Ferriter and Annie Ferriter (Flaherty); his son Michael Ferriter; and his sisters, Mary Hoar and Ann Marie "Nancy" Kissel.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Ferriter (Benjamin); his children, Kevin Ferriter (Hazel) of Ludlow, Timothy Ferriter (Yvonne Barnett) of Springfield, Maureen Leahey (Matthew) of Springfield and Gail Ferriter (James O'Connor) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Michael Southerland, Karen Fairchild, Matthew Leahey, Samantha Donnellan and Christina Ferriter; and his great grandchildren, Liam Southerland, Braden Fairchild, Thomas Southerland, Olivia Fairchild and Meredith Donnellan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
