It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Theresa Gilhooly of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Westfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Dowd and Anna Dowd (Russell); her husband James Francis Gilhooly; her son-in-law Jeffrey Galica; her brothers, John and Patrick Dowd; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Sheehan (Tom) and George Gilhooly (Alice).
She is survived by: her daughter Atty; her grandchildren, Anthony Hala, Julia, Zachary and Timothy Galica; her sister Kathleen Dowd; and her sister-in-law Linda Dowd of Franklin Lakes, NJ.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
