Simmons of Springfield, MA.; his grandparents, Rickie Bates (Peggy) of Springfield, MA and Mary Ames of Camden, Delaware.; his siblings, James W. Christy, III (Isha), Tawny Simmons, Chene M. Christy and Mildred Simmons; his stepparents, Jose Luss and Doris Haywood; his nephew Jeremiah Simmons; his niece Naveyah Rivera; and his aunts and uncles, Rickie Bates, Frankie Robinson, Kimberly Bates and Margaret Bates.
