She was predeceased by: her mother Lisa Ann Fisher; her adoptive father Hugh Everett Coleman; and her nephew John Frank Herrera. She is survived by: her adoptive mother Cecilia Coleman (Garcia); her siblings, Impala Coleman, Melanie Ann Thompson-Padilla, Melissa Ann Thompson and Christopher Delane Branch; her nephews, Vitoriano Santo Segura, Lucenzo Anthony Segura and Isaiah Tramane Dennis; her godson Dominic Arrey; and her friends, Jennifer Marichal, Leon Jerfita, Adam Smith, Christina Jacobs and Katheline Jacobs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Fenway Health in Marlene's memory to support her passion for comprehensive HIV/AIDS care, prevention, research, and advocacy.
