He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Bettis and Marilyn Bettis (Pixler); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Susanne Bettis (Kirk); his children, Mark Bettis, Jr. (Annette), Andrew McDonald of Springfield and Melissa McDonald of Indian Orchard; and his siblings, Kelly, Denise, Susan, Ruth, David and Richard. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, along with other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services (15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, MA 01151). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Ma Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
