It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ortiz (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Lydia Orozco Salido; and her brother Benjamin Silva. She is survived by: her father Benjamin Silva Bermudez; her husband Carlos Ortiz; her children, Sal and Eliana; her sister Livia (Alex); her children, Libny and Alex; her sister Bany (Eloy); her nieces and nephews, Eliel, Isaac and Debanhi; her sister Milca (Daniel); her niece Lily; her sister Nohemi Silva; and her aunts and uncles, Evita, Caro, Joel, Elias, Pedro and Tony.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

“Carlos & the entire family, we're so sadden by the news we heard today. We wish we could've been there with you all. I know that Marilyn had a beautiful spirit, and she love her family like no other. We know it will be difficult at times with her loss, but we pray that God gives you all his peace and brings comfort knowing that she is completely healed and is going to spend eternity in heaven in his presence.
