She was predeceased by: her parents, Colon Hall and Edna Hall; her husband Herman Brown; her siblings, James, Raymond Hall and Margaret; and her grandson Larry Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Emery of Euless, TX. and Johnnie B. Porter, Jr.; her grandchildren, Marjorie Lacewell-Graham of Riegelwood, NC., Glen Brown, Aelsia Spears, Veda Emery, True Love Allah (Tiffany), Jerome Lendon and Fifteen; and her siblings-in-law, Geneva Hall and Elijah of Washington. She is also survived by Fifteen Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren.
