Luigi Basile Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luigi Basile of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 11, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Basile and Elisabetta Basile (Laudati); and his son Alphonse. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Liquori; his children, Elisabetta "Lisa" Basile of Springfield, Anthony Basile (Lucia) of East Longmeadow and Ann Marie Basile of Springfield; his grandchildren, Michael, John (Sarah), Giuliano (Dasha), Anthony, Tina, Marco, Alexia and Brenden; his great grandchild Mason; his siblings, Rocco Basile and Michela Calabrese of Springfield; his siblings-in-law, Gennaro Buonfiglio of Longmeadow and Lena Peloquin of West Springfield; and his sister Stella Tibanihira. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
