She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Gray and Sallie Woodson; her husband James William Lipscomb; her siblings, Emma Lois Austin, Alice Gray, Charlie Woodson and Henry Woodson; and her nephew Derrick Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Marie Lipscomb-Hogg (Gary Hogg) and James Nelson Lipscomb (Deborah Lipscomb); her grandchildren, Tamika Lipscomb, Shanti Jones (William), Christopher Lipscomb, Catherine Lipscomb, Shawntay Lipscomb, Justin Lipscomb, Deondre Alston, Jamal Middleton, Timothy, Elizabeth Hourihan and Mariah Hogg; her great grandchildren, Amaya Malcolm, Ava Jones, Amara Jones, Mekiel Wright-Lipscomb and Janelle Lipscomb; her siblings, Cora Epps, Alberta Jackson, Elijah Gray (Lois), Jim Gray (Sharon), Wallace Gray and Alonzo Gray; and her friend Catherine Hourihan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church (570 Tower Ave, Hartford, CT 06112). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
