With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kimberly Brooks (Springfield, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kimberly shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kimberly farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Brooks Jr. and Doris Moyer; her significant other Kenneth Heatley; her daughters, Nina Thornton of North Carolina and Julia Heatley of Rhode Island; and her siblings, Lester W. Brooks III, Cassandra Wise of Kentucky, Michele Stephens of Ware, MA, Lavender Marengo (Rich Marengo), Michelle Smith (Dave Smith) of Ludlow, MA, Georgianna Karpoff (Mark Karpoff) of Southampton, MA and Gail Forrette of Kentucky. She was also cherished by other relatives; and many friends.
