Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kevin Welz (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away at the age of 64, on October 17, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard J. Welz and Grace Welz (Harrison); and his siblings, Bernard, Robert Welz and Teresa Reed (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Anne Welz (Flannery) of Springfield; his children, Brendon Welz (Alesia) of Springfield, Caitlin Welz of Springfield and Elizabeth Slater (Jonathan) of East Longmeadow; his granddaughters, Olivia Graves and Lily Slater; his siblings, Edward Welz (Marilyn), William Welz (Darlene) of Wilbraham, Jack Welz (Dianne) of Peabody, MA and Grace Odlum; his friend Ann Marie Welz (Park) of Springfield; and his sister-in-law Maureen Welz of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended friends.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin's name to either the Sister Caritas Cancer Center 271 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 or the Muscular Dystrophy Association in care of Springfield Fire Department Local 648 (make checks payable to the MDA and mail to 33 Eastland Street, Springfield, MA 01109).
