She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Aloijzy Godek and Rose Godek (Gruszczynska); her sons, John (Vicki Burns), Thomas (PJ Owen) and Edward (Joy Burns); her grandchildren, Kathryn Megan Burns, Jesse Payeur of Montgomery, NY, John Christopher Burns and Katherine Smith of Halifax; her sister Helen Curry of Suffield, CT.; her husband John William Burns; and also, John Brendan Burns and Kyle David Burns of Halifax. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Katherine Joan Burns, 97, formerly of South Hadley and currently a resident of East Village Place in East Longmeadow, joined our Lord on April 15, 2020 after a brief hospitalization at Baystate Medical Center due to complications from Covid-19.
