It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Toomey of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Windham, Connecticut, who passed away on January 23, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Howard, Peter, Doris and Regina; his son-in-law Bobby; and his siblings-in-law, Nick, Johnny, Ed, Celia, Dodie, Barb and Virginia.
He is survived by: his significant other Odette "Odie" Toomey (Nichols); his daughters, Cynthia Ullrich (Rick), Kathy Bentley (Bob) and Theresa Tease; his great grandchild Emma; his siblings-in-law, Marie Sarkis and Al Mancini; and his friends, Charlie, Mary Suse, Chet, John Sarage, Joe and Dee Gustin. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, services will be held at a later date.
