It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph R. Strain (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Lorraine (Moras); his children, Kathleen Duquette (Paul) of Westfield, Joseph M. Strain (Springfield), Patricia Johansen of Canton and Michael Strain (Jill) of Longmeadow; his grandchildren, Michelle Duquette, Nicole Paolino (Jason), Michael Strain (Lauren), Theresa Strain, Tony Strain, Lamadia Strain, Stephen Johansen (Hyunji), Owen Johansen, Lily Johansen, Nathan Strain, Connor Strain and Katherine Strain; his great grandchildren, Anna, Elsa, Kyle, Makayla, Madelyn, Ryan, Ella and Finn; his brother Robert Strain of Narragansett, RI.; and his parents, Joseph F. Strain and Julia Strain (Collins).
