He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Spakanik, Sr. and Adeline W. Spakanik (Grundstrom); his sister Debbie Weldon; and his brother-in-law Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Spakanik (Jordan); his children, Amanda M. Spakanik (Eric Ryan) of Springfield, Joseph Arden Spakanik of Springfield, Chelsea M. Spakanik of Springfield and Haley M. Spakanik of Springfield; his sisters, Laurie Spakanik and Kathy Duncan; and his mother-in-law Alberta Jordan of Chicopee.
His Burial will follow the Mass at Saint Patrick Cemetery, 168 Fuller Road, Chicopee, MA 01020, (please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and funeral home and Church capacity are limited due to state regulations).
