He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Francisco Vasco and Ermelinda Rosa De Oliveira; and his son Luis-Filipe Vasco. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia (Placanico); his daughter Dora-Milena Mortell (Justin Carvalho) of Indian Orchard; his stepchildren, Julie Ingalls (John Reilly) of Ludlow and Jonathon Lucia of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Adriana, Dante, Daniel, Courtney, Madison, Ryan and Savannah; his sisters, Maria Manuela and Fernanda Maria; his pet Bella; and his friends, Lewis, Raquel Riopello, Phil Gosselin, Nancy Pereira, Junior, Ronette Garcia, John and Denise Reilly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
