He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Sr. Mason and Hattie Mason (Mounger); and his wife Ada Mason (Royster). He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Johnson (Ervin) of Springfield, MA; his siblings, Bill Mason (Angie), Donald Mason of Charlotte, NC, Shirley Long and Dorothy Orr (Willis) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Alexandria (Alexander) and Tosha; and his great grandchildren, Terrance and Ava.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Ma Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
