It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice O'Connor of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Vinalhaven, Maine, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Barton and Charlotte Barton (Mills); her husband William T. O'Connor; her brother Arnold Barton, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Maureen Minnie.
She is survived by: her brother Dana Barton of Vinalhaven, ME; her cousin Ruthann Sassi (Gino) of Ludlow; her niece Kirstin Barton; her nephew Nicholas Barton; her stepchildren, William O'Connor (Naza), Debra Nyman (Jeffrey) and Patricia Connors; her stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Allison, Aaron Nyman, William, Kevin, Edward Minnie, Timothy and Brittany Connors; and her sister-in-law Candi V. Barton. She is also survived by several cousins, other family members and friends.
