He is survived by: his wife Ruth Elaine Goodman; his children, Andrea "Daddy', Girl and James E. Goodman, Jr. (Roxann) of Lake Helen, FL; his grandchildren, Allan Skeene, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Andre Skeene (Aisha) of Springfield, James E. Goodman III of Lake Helen, FL, Sophia and Symone Goodman of Lake Helen, FL; his great grandchild Ameer James Skeene; his siblings, Harold Goodman Sr. (Mary), Jennie Ernestine White of Springfield and Lessie Grant (Sam) of Springfield; his cousin Bessie V. Willis of Hartford, CT; his friends, John and Lucille Murphy; and his goddaughters, Phyllis Goodman and Eboni Goodman.
