James E. Fallon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 73, James E. Fallon (Springfield, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Fallon and Mary Fallon (O'Connor); his wife Jean Fallon (Mias) of Westfield; his children, Carrie Lombardi (Neal) of Arlington, VA and Matthew Fallon (Andrea) of Westfield; his grandchildren, Evangeline, Elsie, Colin, Adelyn and Claire; his siblings, Joseph (Linda) of Enfield, CT, William (Deborah) of Springfield, Edward (Jacqueline) of Springfield, Mary Provost (Gary) of Springfield and Katherine Sousa (Stephen) of East Longmeadow; his sisters-in-law, Jennifer Fallon of Longmeadow and Karen Fallon of Wilbraham; his brothers, Michael and Malachy; and his sister-in-law Julie. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Springfield Cemetery (171 Maple St, Springfield, MA 01105).
In lieu of flowers, you can send memorial gifts to Mercy Medical Center (designation: Sister Caritas Cancer Center) , Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital who all greatly cared for him during his battle.
