He was predeceased by: his father Irving G. Grindle; his brother Kevin Grindle; and his father-in-law Raymond McCarthy. He is survived by: his mother Gloria A. Grindle-Roy (Belden) of Longmeadow; his wife Diane Grindle (McCarthy); his daughters, Kelly A. Grindle of Feeding Hills and Amy M. Grindle (Matt Thomas) of Plainville, CT; his siblings, Bob Grindle (Cherie) of Rochester, NH, Don Grindle (Cyndy) of Windsor Locks, CT, Ken Grindle (Jill) of Suffield, CT, Karen Cliche (Ray) of Belchertown and Joyce Powers (Mark) of Chicopee; his mother-in-law Gloria McCarthy (Palazzesi) of Springfield; his siblings-in-law, Ray McCarthy of Chicopee, Rob McCarthy (Mary-Beth) of West Springfield, Deb Aberdale (Tom) of Chicopee and Judy Moriarty (Jim) of Feeding Hills; and his pet Snickers. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
His Burial will follow the Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA 01129, (please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and church capacity is limited due to state guidelines).
