It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline M. Chapdelaine of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Wilfred Cassin and Angela Cassin (Racicot); her husband Gerard "Jay" Chapdelaine; and her brother Bernard Cassin. She is survived by: her children, Michele Chapdelaine, Michael Chapdelaine and Christopher Chapdelaine (Erin); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Evan, Connor and Anthony; and her brother Raymond Cassin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Michael's Parish (128 Maple St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028).
