It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene T. (Deblois) Douillard of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Deblois and Marie Anna Deblois (Lemoine); her husband George H. Douillard; and her daughter Annette T. Spiriti. She is survived by: her children, Raymond G. Douillard (Arlene) of Westfield and Celeste B. Diede (Harry) of Springfield; her son-in-law Joseph V. Spiriti of Florida; her grandchildren, Gina Hailer (Charles), Joseph Spiriti (Pinky), Michael Spiriti (Wendy), Daniel Arona (Lori), Michellene Cyr (Peter), Marcie Arona, Anthony Douillard (Marcy), Shawn Regan and Shannon Regan (Kyle Laundry); and her sister-in-law Gina Douillard of Virginia. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for a WALK-THRU Visitation on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. Please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and funeral home, church and cemetery attendance are limited due to state regulations.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Holy Name Church, 323 Dickinson Street, Springfield, MA 01108.
