She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward G. and Anna McCarthy, Sr. (Garelli); her son Stephen; her grandson Matthew; and her brothers, Edward, Jr. and Charles.
She is survived by: her significant other James G. Pepe, Sr.; her sons, James G. Pepe, Jr. (Kelly Cote) of Chicopee and Dr. Michael A. Pepe (Andrea Duarte) of Chicopee; her grandchildren, James G. Pepe, III and Samantha I. Pepe; her siblings, James McCarthy (Mary) and Maude Stanfield; and her cousin Sadly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
