He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Pica and Catalina Santiago; and his brother Carlos Santiago. He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Pica, David Santiago and Jose Pica; and his siblings, Maria Isabel Pica, Maria Socorro Pica, Maria Del Carmen Pica, Ana Evelyn Santiago, Brunilda Santiago, Nilda Torres, Ernesto Pica, Victor Pica, Miguel Pica and Rafael Pica.
