George S. Mavredakis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George S. Mavredakis of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Spiro Mavredakis and Angeliki Mavredakis (Theodorakis); his brother Eftihios Mavredakis; and his brother-in-law Haris Haritakis. He is survived by: his wife Bess Vasiliki Mavredakis (Perrakis); his sons, Spiro G. Mavredakis (Sara) and Emmanuel G. Mavredakis (Maria Nikolis); his grandchildren, Efstratios, Andrew, Anastasia, Nicholas, Michael, Samuel and Mary-Alice; his siblings, Haralambos Mavredakis (Katerina) of Crete, Greece and Anna Haritakis of Crete, Greece; and his brother-in-law Charles Perrakis of Longmeadow.
There are no visiting hours at the St. Pierre - Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107, (Please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and Cathedral capacity is limited due to state regulations).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Minos-Crete Inc., Building Fund, 35 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
