He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Bernadette Schmoke Sr. (Banks); his wife Luetta Schmoke (Partin); his son Michael George Schmoke; and his brother Edward Fester Schmoke.
He is survived by: his sons, Carl Edward Schmoke of Bloomfield, CT and Gregory Thomas Schmoke Sr. (Angela) of Springfield, MA; his grandchildren, Kainé Compton (Jody Sr.), Mattina Schmoke, Shauna Schmoke, Leslie Reid (Ryan) and Gregory Schmoke Jr.; his great grandchildren, Zariah Fleming, Jayel Compton, Jordan Compton, A'mya Fleming, Rylie Reid, Jody Compton Jr., Landon Reid, Carter Gains and Caiden Gains; his brother-in-law Alfred Partin; his godchildren, Terry Morris and Zachary Morris; and his daughter Diane Jacobs. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
