It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick V. DeMarinis Jr. (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick V. DeMarinis Sr. and Rose DeMarinis (D'Amore); and his nephew Kurt Gorman. He is survived by: his significant other Joan Murphy; his sister Jacqueline Gorman (Joseph); and his nieces, Nora Murphy, Emma Marsh and Rory Murphy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Park Cemetery (895 Parker St, Springfield, MA 01129).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Fred's name to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield MA 01104.
