He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McCrae and Elaretha McCrae; his son Jonluc McCrae; his grandson Pharell Godbolt; and his nieces, Shana Perrin and Ebony McCrae-Curley.
He is survived by: his children, Toccara McCrae, Victoria McCrae, Charles McCrae, Malcolm McCrae and Heather Davina-Marie McCrae; the mother of his children Yolanda McCrae; his grandchildren, Shakeem Josey-Lucas, Talia Lee, Kiara Lee, Kalord Lee, Charles McCrae Jr. and Cari McCrae; his aunt Albertha; his uncle Willie Marrow; his siblings, Gail (Jeffrey), Patrick Marshall, Rodney McCrae, Christopher McCrae and Jason McCrae; and his close friends, Terrence Burney of Durham, NC, Michael Finch, DeAndre Sime Crosby and Coley Brown. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
