Eleftheria Manolarakis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleftheria Manolarakis of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Iakovos Anezakis and Evangelia Anezakis (Theodorakis); and her brothers, Stelios and Manoli Anezakis. She is survived by: her husband Stylianos Manolarakis; her son Nikolaos S. Manolarakis; her daughter-in-law Sheila of Springfield; her grandchildren, Niko Manolarakis (Heather), Stephen Manolarakis (Christina Mallet), Anthony and Christopher Manolarakis; her great grandchild Lillian Manolarakis; and her siblings, Kay Kazalis of Springfield and Antonios Anezakis (Koula) of Athens, Greece.
She will Repose in State on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 9:30 a. m. to 11 a. m. which will be followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a. m. at Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2320 Main Street, Springfield, MA 01107, (please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and Cathedral capacity is limited due to state regulations). Her Burial will be private at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 22 Saint George Road, Springfield, MA 01104.
