It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Cheney of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raphael Cote and Alice Cote (Connell); her husband Daniel A. Cheney; and her siblings, Ralph, Edwin, Alfred, Geraldine, Anita and Rita.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Cheney of Springfield and Daniel Cheney of South Deerfield; her granddaughter Stefani Cheney; her son-in-law Oliver Pysz; her sister Shirley Colapietro; her niece Laurene Tourville; her close friends, Lois Day, Joan Roberts (Art), Mary, Roger Dager, Mike and Barbara Sullivan; and her pets, Penelope, Thomas O'Malley, Ella and Arya. She is also survived by many other family members, many friends.
